Former world No. 1 Andy Roddick has questioned why Flavio Cobolli shared a press room with Matteo Arnaldi after Arnaldi withdrew from their French Open semifinal due to a viral illness.
Arnaldi pulled out shortly before the match, citing stomach issues and a fever.

He told reporters he believed he had contracted a virus, leaving him unable to move, eat, or drink.
During the media session, Cobolli sat a short distance away from Arnaldi.
Roddick noted the proximity, saying, "They were a little too close during the press conference, by the way."
Roddick insisted he would have refused to be in the same room to protect his health ahead of the final.

"I would be like, 'Brother, I love you. I'll see you in a week.
Don't be in the same room as me,'" he said.
Despite his criticism, Roddick expressed sympathy for Arnaldi, hoping this is not his only Grand Slam semifinal opportunity.
The walkover advanced 10th-seeded Cobolli to his first Grand Slam final, where he will face Alexander Zverev.
