Rugby league legend Kevin Sinfield CBE has revealed the official route for his seventh and final annual ultra-marathon challenge to support the Motor Neurone Disease (MND) community across the UK and Republic of Ireland.

The event, named 7 in 7: The Grand Finale, will start on Sunday, September 28, 2026, at Hull KR's home ground and conclude on October 3, 2026, at Old Trafford ahead of the Super League Grand Final.

Sinfield and his team plan to run an ultra-marathon daily for seven days, dividing each day into 7km blocks completed within an hour, while visiting all 12 English Super League clubs.

The fundraising campaign has raised over £11 million since 2020, benefiting six charities including the MND Association, Leeds Hospitals Charity, My Name5 Doddie Foundation, Darby Rimmer Foundation, MND Scotland, and the Irish MND Association.

Sports apparel brand OXEN Sports has launched a 2026 Limited Edition Challenge Range in partnership with Sinfield, pledging 20 percent of all proceeds directly to the September challenge.

The collection marks the third consecutive year OXEN Sports has collaborated with the fundraising team, having already raised more than £300,000 for MND charities since their initial partnership.

The initiative is heavily inspired by Sinfield's former Leeds Rhinos teammate, the late Rob Burrow CBE, whose battle with the illness transformed national awareness.

Lee Jenkinson, CEO of OXEN Sports, expressed pride in continuing the brand's alignment with the initiative and the rugby league community.
