Ivan Toney led the scoring with a hat-trick, including a long-range goal.
Jordan Henderson, Ethan Nwaneri, and Rio Ngumoha each scored once.
Ngumoha, a 17-year-old Liverpool winger, was not named in the final 26-man World Cup squad but impressed with a long-range strike.
“I’ll say it was a crazy feeling,” Ngumoha said.
He added that he felt excited and focused after learning about the rotation strategy during the pre-match team meeting.
“I was happy, I was buzzing.

I knew from when we had the meeting before that it was a first-half team and a second-half team, so I was preparing,” Ngumoha said.
The teenager noted that the quick transition into the game helped manage his emotions.
“It’s good that I didn’t have much time to think about it, but I wasn’t too nervous, to be fair.
I just wanted to play and just show everyone what I could do. And yeah, I just had fun,” he said.
Senior players Harry Kane and Jude Bellingham were rested, while Marc Guehi and Kobbie Mainoo played without injury.
Bayern Munich has expressed interest in signing Ngumoha, but Liverpool has received no contact and intends to keep him under new manager Andoni Iraola.
