A trade proposal from Bleacher Report analyst Gary Davenport projects the Las Vegas Raiders sending star edge-rusher Maxx Crosby to the San Francisco 49ers during the 2026 NFL season.

The deal would accelerate the Raiders' rebuilding process, according to the proposal published on June 14, 2026.

Las Vegas would receive a 2027 first-round draft pick, a 2028 second-round draft pick, and edge-rusher Mykel Williams from the 49ers in exchange for Crosby.

The potential transaction impacts divisional rivals like the Denver Broncos, who have secured 24 regular-season wins since the start of the 2024 season.

The Los Angeles Chargers have 22 wins and the Kansas City Chiefs have 21 victories in the same period.

The Raiders previously attempted to trade the 28-year-old defensive star to the Baltimore Ravens for two first-round picks earlier this offseason.

That deal collapsed following a failed physical examination.

Crosby said the failed offseason transaction has not affected his commitment to the organization.

"It's water under the bridge," Crosby said. "It's a long time ago.

"A lot of adversity, a lot of different things you can't really anticipate. But I've been through a lot in my life.

It's nothing to me."

"I'm here and I want to be here and I'm excited to be here. I've got a lot of work to do."

The Raiders front office has given no formal indication that they are actively shopping Crosby following the physical complications with Baltimore.

The San Francisco 49ers view the potential acquisition as a strategy to counter the Los Angeles Rams in the NFC West.
