Peugeot is marking the 100th anniversary of its first participation in the 24 Hours of Le Mans with a series of special editions across six of its models.

The Le Mans editions will be available for the 208 hatchback, 308 hatchback and estate, 408 fastback, and the 3008 and 5008 SUVs.

Only the Rifter and Traveller vans escape the special treatment.

Styling and Performance Package

The special editions are based on the high-spec GT trim and promise unique styling touches combining elegant black with the signature blue hue of the race.

Peugeot says the package will bring real value to customers, not just design changes.

Phil York, head of Peugeot Marketing and Communications, told Auto Express: “We won’t make it design only, it has to be the full package.

Powertrain details will be announced later, but the editions are expected to use plug-in hybrid or electric variants with the highest output.

The full lineup appeared in an official teaser one year before the commercial launch, scheduled for the 2027 24 Hours of Le Mans.

At this year’s 94th edition of the race, Toyota Racing took first and third, with BMW second and Cadillac fourth.
