Hyundai Australia has introduced a limited-run version of the i20 N called the Shadow Edition, marking the end of the current generation.

Only 100 units will be produced, all exclusively for the Australian market.

The most distinctive feature is the set of exclusive 18-inch matte bronze flow-forged alloy wheels.

The car also gets black wheel nuts and black decals along the bottom of the doors.

Buyers can choose between Atlas White or Phantom Black paint, unlike the regular model which offers five colors.

Inside, the Shadow Edition includes a bronze numbered plaque on the dashboard, an Alcantara gear knob, and a steering wheel wrapped in Alcantara with a Performance Blue 12 o'clock marker.

Custom rubber floor mats feature a tread pattern that mimics the car's Pirelli P Zero tires.

Mechanically, the i20 N Shadow Edition is unchanged.

It retains the 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine producing 201 hp (150 kW) and 203 lb-ft (275 Nm) of torque, paired exclusively with a six-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential.

Pricing starts at AU$41,500 ($29,300) for Atlas White and AU$42,095 ($29,700) for Phantom Black, compared to the base i20 N's AU$37,500 ($26,500).

The Shadow Edition is a send-off for the current i20, which is being replaced by a redesigned high-riding model in Brazil.
