Serena Williams and Venus Williams will reunite at Wimbledon after receiving a wildcard for the women's doubles tournament, the All England Club announced.

The six-time Wimbledon doubles champions are set to compete together for the first time in four years.

Their last title at the All England Club came a decade ago during their most recent appearance as a pair.

Serena's Singles Status Uncertain

Neither sister has yet received a wildcard for the women's singles draw, though one spot remains available. Speculation continues about Serena's potential return to singles competition.

When asked about a singles comeback at Queen's, the 23-time grand slam champion said it is "not my journey right now."

Her last Wimbledon singles appearance ended in a first-round loss to France's Harmony Tan four years ago.

She stepped away from tennis later that summer after the US Open.

Other wildcard recipients include French Open runner-up Maja Chwalinska, who will be seeded after entering the top 21.

Grigor Dimitrov and retiring Stan Wawrinka made the men's singles cut.

Former British number one Dan Evans did not receive a singles wildcard and will likely face qualifiers.

He recently lost in the opening qualifying round at Queen's and dropped to 244th in the world rankings.

Evans had criticized the Lawn Tennis Association for denying him a wildcard into the HSBC Championships at Queen's.

He has won only one of six matches this season.

Two men's singles spots remain open for candidates such as Gael Monfils, Nick Kyrgios, and Matteo Berrettini. Evans and Kyrgios received wildcards for the men's doubles tournament.

Singles wildcards were also awarded to British players Jacob Fearnley, Arthur Fery, Jack Pinnington Jones, Toby Samuel, Harriet Dart, Katie Swan, Alicia Dudeney, Mika Stojsavljevic, Mimi Xu, and Hannah Klugman.
