Carr played alongside Knecht during the 2023-2024 season at Tennessee before transferring to Baylor for the 2025-2026 season, where he developed into an impactful offensive player.

Knecht's Role Diminished in Second Season

According to reports, Knecht experienced a decreased role under head coach JJ Redick during his second season, averaging 4.2 points, 1.4 rebounds, and 0.4 assists across 54 games.

The decline followed a rookie season where Knecht appeared in 78 games and averaged 19.2 minutes per contest.
