The outing lowered his season ERA to 3.09 with a 1.06 WHIP and 76 strikeouts over 90.1 innings pitched.

The start marked the fifth consecutive time Webb has completed at least seven innings in June.

During the month, he surrendered only four runs on 19 hits and four walks across 38 innings, striking out 29.

Return to Form After Injury

Webb missed time in May due to a knee injury but has returned to his typical workhorse form.

According to CBS Sports, he has made 14 starts this season.

While the stint on the injured list may prevent him from reaching 200 innings for a fourth straight year, Webb has been a reliable force for the Giants.

His next scheduled start is projected to be on the road against the Colorado Rockies.
