The Princess of Wales launched a national fundraising page to support holistic cancer treatment after completing the grueling National Three Peaks Challenge within 24 hours this weekend.

The future queen hiked 23 miles, ascended over 10,000 feet, and traveled 462 miles between Scotland, England, and Wales to raise awareness for the Royal Marsden Cancer Charity following her own remission from the disease.

"I have taken on the National Three Peaks Challenge, not simply as a physical endeavour but as a chance to explore life beyond diagnosis and to give something back," wrote Kate, the Princess of Wales.

The royal emphasized that her treatment location, the Royal Marsden Hospital in Chelsea, west London, provides critical care that alters patient lives, prompting her to advocate for broader healthcare support.

"The Royal Marsden is a place that holds great meaning for me and whose care and expertise are life-changing for so many people," wrote Kate.

The Princess explained that the funds will aid research and implement nationwide blueprints to make personalized, supportive treatments a standard part of clinical care.

"Through this challenge, I want to raise awareness for the deeper impact of serious illness and the importance of holistic healthcare," wrote Kate.

Reflecting on her 2025 chemotherapy treatments, she noted that the personal experience provided her with an understanding of how serious diagnoses impact families, friendships, and mental well-being.

"Every year, hundreds of thousands of people in this country hear the words no one wants to hear.
