The fifth-year defensive back is using the offseason to focus on fundamentals and family before the demanding NFL season begins.

"Relaxing, getting ready for the season, spending time with friends, family.

Since I don't really have a whole lot of time to do that during the season," Hill said.

Entering a crucial contract year, the 25-year-old could see an extension before Week 1. He emphasized the importance of maximizing personal time during the brief break.

"Obviously, it's narrowed down a lot more during the season, but right now, I'm hanging out with people that I love.

Just taking some time to myself before it starts to ramp up," Hill added.

The Bengals secondary has a revamped look, generating significant internal momentum. Hill expressed optimism about integrating new defensive talent and progress made during organized team activities.

"A lot of excitement, whenever you get two new guys in, it just brings a different type of energy," Hill said.

The defensive unit aims to become a dominant force. Hill noted returning players are motivated to build on previous performances.
