"It feels good. We played three good matches in the group.

Now it really begins," Summerville said.

The squad held an internal team meeting ahead of the fixture, a detail previously disclosed by captain Virgil van Dijk during a press conference on Sunday.

Summerville noted that the details of the player discussions would remain private.

"What was said in that conversation stays internal," Summerville said.

The winger emphasized the high intensity within the camp, noting that the squad completed two highly productive training sessions leading up to the decisive game.

"We want to keep each other sharp, of course. Today is do or die.
