NEC Nijmegen has invited free agent winger Emre Mor to train with the first team as the club builds its squad for the upcoming Champions League qualifiers.
The 28-year-old Turkish international joined the Eredivisie side on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, after his contract with Fenerbahçe was terminated last season.

Reconstructing the Squad
Mor is the latest addition to a revamped Nijmegen roster that already secured free agents Kaj Sierhuis from Fortuna Sittard and Perr Schuurs from Torino FC.
The club also spent €1.5 million to sign Tobias Storm from Lyngby IF.
According to SciSports data, Mor is not a traditional winger but operates in halfspaces to create chances.

He averaged 64.8 successful dribbles and an expected assists rate of 0.37 per 90 minutes in his last active season.
However, Mor lacks match rhythm after missing the entire previous season due to injuries and registration issues at Fenerbahçe.
His last competitive appearance was on May 18, 2025.

NEC Nijmegen officially announced the training integration via social media, stating that the Turkish winger will resume group training in Nijmegen.
