The Social Security Administration has released the payment schedule for July 2026, detailing when retirement and Supplemental Security Income beneficiaries will receive their funds.
Retirement beneficiaries will generally receive payments on Wednesdays, based on their birth date. Those born between the 1st and 10th will be paid on Wednesday, July 8.

Beneficiaries with birthdays from the 11th to the 20th will receive their payment on Wednesday, July 15.
The remaining group, born between the 21st and 31st, will be paid on Wednesday, July 22.
A separate group of recipients who began collecting benefits before May 1997 will receive their payment earlier, on Thursday, July 2.
Supplemental Security Income (SSI) beneficiaries will see two payments in July: one on Wednesday, July 1, and another on Friday, July 31.

The second payment serves as an advance for August because August 1 falls on a weekend.
After the July 31 payment, no further SSI distributions will occur until Tuesday, September 1.
Subsequent 2026 payments are scheduled for October 1, October 30, December 1, and December 31.
If a payment does not arrive on the scheduled date, the agency advises beneficiaries to first check with their financial institution.

If the issue persists, individuals should call 1-800-772-1213 or visit their local Social Security office for assistance.
