The brother of Baltimore Ravens defensive lineman Calais Campbell has been charged with murder after their mother was found dead in Georgia on Tuesday.
Ciarre Campbell was booked into the Fulton County Jail on charges of murder and aggravated assault, according to authorities.

Police responded to a call around 12:30 p. m.
Tuesday and discovered Nateal Campbell unresponsive.
Arrest warrants indicated her throat had been cut, and officers found Ciarre Campbell in possession of a knife.
A preliminary court hearing was scheduled for Wednesday morning. Online court records did not list an attorney representing him at the time of publication.
The Campbell family released a statement requesting privacy during this difficult time.

"We are devastated to share that the Campbell Family has lost its matriarch, Mrs. Nateal Campbell," the family said.
They expressed comfort in their faith despite the ongoing investigation.
"While the details of her passing are still being investigated, we take comfort in knowing she is reunited with our father, her beloved Chuck, and in the arms of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ," the statement read.
Calais Campbell, 39, is preparing for his 19th NFL season after signing a one-year, $5.5 million contract in April.

The six-time Pro Bowler and 2017 first-team AP All-Pro selection has recorded 117 career sacks across 278 games with Arizona, Jacksonville, Atlanta, and Miami.
