Northern Irish indie rock band Snow Patrol has released their new collaborative single "These Alarms" featuring pop icon Kylie Minogue.
The track arrived on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, following the group's newly signed global recording agreement with BMG.

The song features a dance-oriented, disco-influenced sound driven by pulsating synths and haunting vocal melodies, with both artists delivering entwined vocals.
Originally written two years ago by frontman Gary Lightbody under the working title "KYLIE," the band withheld the track from their 2024 chart-topping album "The Forest Is The Path" to pursue an actual duet with Minogue.
Alongside the digital release, a limited-edition 7-inch physical vinyl is scheduled to ship on August 21, 2026.
The new partnership with BMG covers future studio recordings and expands on the label's existing publishing representation for band members Lightbody and Nathan Connolly.
How the Collaboration Came Together
Lightbody, a self-proclaimed huge Kylie fan, originally wrote "These Alarms" with her in mind.
He played it to bandmates Johnny and Nathan, who loved it, and they decided to record it for their most recent album.
Throughout the recording process, the song was simply called "KYLIE."
However, after finishing the track, the band realized something huge was missing: Kylie's voice. Member Nathan Connolly suggested sending the demo directly to her.
"So, in hope (and with many fingers and toes crossed) we sent it off, it reached Kylie and we heard back that she liked it," Lightbody said.
