Public libraries will close doors on both Friday and Saturday, while the Department of Permitting Services and TRiPS commuter stores also suspend operations.

Trash, Recycling, and Transit Changes
County-provided trash and recycling collections will maintain regular operations on Friday, July 3.
The Shady Grove Transfer Station and Recycling Center will welcome visitors for the entire facility on Friday but will completely close on Saturday.
County transit services will experience major revisions, with the Ride On Bus Service, Ride On extRa Pink, and Ride On extRa Lime running strictly on a Saturday schedule.
The Ride On Flash Bus Service Orange Route will follow a weekend or holiday schedule, whereas the Blue Route, Ride On extRa Route 101, and Flex lines will not operate.
Alcohol Beverage Services retail locations plan to stay open during regular business hours on Friday, followed by adjusted operating hours from 10 a.
