Actress Zendaya has praised her husband Tom Holland for his dedication to his superhero role ahead of the release of Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
In a promotional video released by Sony Pictures on Thursday, July 2, 2026, Zendaya highlighted Holland's behind-the-scenes work.

"It definitely wouldn't be the movie that it is without Tom Holland, not just because he's Spider-Man, but because of all the work that he's doing behind the camera," Zendaya said.
She emphasized his care for the character and the fans. "He cares so much about the character.
He cares so much about the people who relate and connect to the character, and wants to do justice to Peter Parker's story and what he means to so many people," she added.
The actress also noted Holland's attention to detail during production.
"He really is so committed and so thoughtful about every aspect of Spider-Man, but Peter Parker too," she said.
The couple, who first met on the set of Spider-Man: Homecoming in 2016, recently confirmed their marriage after years of speculation and a 2025 engagement announcement.
During a promotional photocall in Berlin on June 22, Zendaya addressed questions about their relationship, calling Holland her favorite person.

"I don't think I'd like to forget anything. He's like, my favorite person, so it's all great for me.
I'm a bad person to answer that question," she said.
The question was inspired by the film's plot, where society forgets Peter Parker's identity.
Holland has played Spider-Man since 2016, and Brand New Day marks the fourth film appearance for the couple together.
Holland previously confirmed their marriage to Esquire U. K.
, after AI-generated photos of the couple in Lake Como misled his family. "No, because they were all there," he said, declining to share further details.
