Green, 32, was a model of durability for Detroit last season. He was the only player on the roster to appear in all 82 regular-season games.
He averaged 6.9 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 1.2 steals in 17.6 minutes per contest.
Green also shot a career-best 38.1% from three-point range.
His contributions off the bench helped the Pistons achieve a 60-22 record, the third-best regular-season mark in franchise history.
