PSV Eindhoven is strengthening its squad as forwards Alassane Pléa and Ruben van Bommel recover from injuries.

The Dutch champions are also targeting AZ Alkmaar midfielder Sven Mijnans to fill a midfield gap.

Transfer Plans After Saibari Sale

The club is restructuring its roster following the €55 million sale of Ismael Saibari to Bayern Munich.

PSV previously attempted to sign Mijnans last summer, but AZ technical director Max Huiberts blocked the move.

Mijnans remains under contract with Alkmaar until mid-2028. He has made 155 official appearances for the club.

Several Italian teams are also interested in the midfielder.

Returning Forwards Boost Attack

The return of Pléa and Van Bommel provides immediate reinforcement for the attacking line after their recent fitness struggles.
