The East District Anti-Narcotics Squad of Delhi Police dismantled an active drug supply network on Saturday, July 4, 2026, following the arrest of three individuals, including two foreign nationals, across various locations in New Delhi.
According to Delhi Police officials, the operation led to the recovery of 21.09 grams of MDMA, 30 grams of ganja, three scooters, and two mobile phones.

The seized narcotics carry an estimated value of approximately Rs 4 lakh in the international illicit market.
Authorities identified the apprehended individuals as John, a 35-year-old Senegalese national operating as a drug supplier, Solomon, a 37-year-old Nigerian national identified as the source of the narcotics, and Diwakar, a 27-year-old local drug peddler residing in Burari, Delhi.
The crackdown began on June 30 when an Anti-Narcotics Squad team led by Inspector Arun Kumar laid a trap near Star City Mall on the Delhi-Noida Link Road after receiving a tip-off regarding John's arrival.
John attempted to escape on a scooter by driving on the wrong side of the road, hitting a divider before being detained with 12.86 grams of MDMA.

Following his arrest, an FIR was registered at Mayur Vihar Police Station under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
During interrogation, John disclosed his distribution network, which led police to arrest Diwakar on Akshardham Road with 3 grams of MDMA and 30 grams of ganja.
Subsequent questioning of both suspects guided investigators to Solomon in New Ashok Nagar, who was arrested near Crown Plaza Hotel Road with 5.23 grams of MDMA.

Police stated that both foreign nationals failed to provide valid passports or visas during verification, and further investigation is underway to trace the network's broader linkages.
