The trailer for the superhero film Legend of the White Dragon has been released, offering fans a preview of the late Jason David Frank's final movie role.
Produced by Bat in the Sun and distributed by Well Go USA Entertainment, the film was funded through a successful Kickstarter campaign in 2020.

Directed by Aaron Schoenke, who also co-wrote the screenplay with Alex Kellerman, the movie exists outside the official Power Rangers franchise but shares a similar tokusatsu-inspired style.
Frank stars as Erik Reed, a former hero living in anonymity after a past tragedy.
When the villain Dragon Prime, played by Schoenke, threatens his family, Reed is forced to return to action.

The story follows Reed as he emerges from hiding to confront Dragon Prime, clear his name, and reconnect with his secret family.
The cast includes several Power Rangers alumni: Jason David Frank, Jason Faunt, Cerina Vincent, and Ciara Hanna.
Other actors include David Ramsey, Mark Dacascos, Andrew Bachelor, and the late Michael Madsen in one of his final roles.

Legend of the White Dragon is scheduled to premiere exclusively in theaters on August 28.
