According to the Chicago Tribune and Time Out, the initial wave of summer admission passes quickly sold out through September.
The newly released tickets will cover timed-entry visitor dates starting in the fall and extending through January 3, 2027.
Prospective buyers can purchase up to nine tickets online at obama. org, with prices ranging from $15 to $30.
Museum and Campus Details
The four-story museum, located on a 19.3-acre campus in Chicago's historic Jackson Park, officially opened on June 19, 2026.
It is the only portion of the campus requiring paid admission.
“The overwhelming interest we’ve seen since opening our doors is a powerful reminder of how much people are looking for spaces that bring us closer together,” said Valerie Jarrett, CEO of the Obama Foundation.

The foundation expects significant interest for this release and has implemented a virtual queue to manage online traffic.
To prevent scalping, all purchased tickets are nonrefundable and safeguarded against reselling.
While the museum requires a paid ticket, the remainder of the campus grounds is free and open daily from 6 a.
m. to 9 p.
m.
