Quebec City rapper Souldia will headline a major performance on the Plains of Abraham during the Festival d'été de Québec on July 13, 2026, after keeping the booking a secret for eighteen months due to contractual obligations.

The artist purposely avoided scheduling any dates in Quebec City during his 100-show "Nouvelle vie" tour that began in autumn 2024 to preserve the surprise momentum for the upcoming festival.

"Chaque fois que je partageais ma tournée, je voyais des commentaires de gens de Québec, qui me disaient que je les oubliais, que j'oubliais d'où je viens!

J'avais une espèce de blessure. J'aime tellement Québec d'amour!

Alors, j'ai voulu créer une vraie surprise pour me reprendre auprès d'eux…" said Souldia, whose real name is Kevin St-Laurent.

The performance serves as the official launch for his 13th solo album, "Monstre," and features large-scale pyrotechnics alongside a production design structured into three thematic acts by artistic designer Marc-Olivier Comeau.

"Tout ce que vous pouvez imaginer d'envergure" specified Souldia regarding the visual scale of the concert.

The headline set will feature a collaborative lineup of guest artists, including Jay Scott, Roxane Bruneau, Manu Militari, Die-On, Lost, White-B, MB, Rymz, Fleau Dicaprio, Marieme, FouKi, and Koriass.

"On va le jouer comme si c'était le dernier de ma vie. Comme si, le lendemain, il n'y avait plus rien" stated Souldia.

The rapper, who has openly shared his past experiences with delinquency and youth detention centers, reflected on the unlikelihood of his trajectory to the historic venue.
