Carnival Corporation declared a quarterly dividend of $0.15 per share on July 9, 2026, signaling continued financial recovery after a multi-year pandemic suspension.

The payment is scheduled for August 28, 2026, to shareholders of record as of August 7, 2026, according to reports from ECIKS.

Market Response and Share Performance

The announcement triggered a positive market reaction, with Carnival shares jumping 5.3% in afternoon trading before stabilizing at $26.85, as reported by The Globe and Mail.

The company also recently completed a share repurchase program, buying back 15,100,000 shares for $390,340,000, according to Simply Wall St.

Record Financial Performance in 2025

The cash distribution follows record financial achievements in 2025.

Carnival reported an adjusted net income of $3.1 billion, record revenues of $26.6 billion, and a historic EBITDA of $6.91 billion.

The EBITDA surpassed its pre-pandemic high of $5.43 billion from 2019.

The company had suspended its dividend program in 2020 during the global health crisis that halted cruise operations.

Josh Weinstein, CEO of Carnival Corporation, described 2025 as "a truly phenomenal year" regarding the company's performance.

The operator maintains a fleet of more than 90 vessels across eight global cruise brands, including Carnival Cruise Line, Princess Cruises, and Holland America Line.
