Thirteen-year-old Maja Gadowska passed away on Friday, July 10, 2026, following a battle with osteosarcoma, an aggressive form of bone cancer.
The Cancer Fighters Foundation announced her death in a social media post.

Gadowska, from Mała Wieś, became widely known in Poland through a charitable campaign led by internet personality Łatwogang.
The campaign included a duet song, "Wszystkie marzenia," to support her medical treatment.
Her health struggles began in November 2023 when she experienced persistent arm pain. Medical consultations and scans later confirmed a malignant tumor.
"Majeczko... dziękujemy Ci za uśmiech, którym poruszyłaś tysiące serc.
Za siłę, którą dawałaś innym, i dobro, które po sobie zostawiłaś. Będzie nam Ciebie ogromnie brakować.
Żegnaj, Majeczko. Na zawsze pozostaniesz w naszych sercach," the foundation wrote.
Before her illness, Gadowska was a creative girl who enjoyed drawing and making colorful bead decorations, according to the foundation's website.

Singer Magda Bereda commented, "Serce pęka…" on the news.
Many public figures and internet users expressed grief, including Anna Lewandowska, Cleo, and Borys Szyc, who left broken heart emojis.
Justyna Szyc-Nagłowska wrote, "Leć wysoko Maju." Sports commentator Dariusz Szpakowski called her a heroine whose story moved all of Poland.
Journalist Hanna Lis shared a message comforting those close to her, calling her a "great little warrior."
Jakob Kosel offered condolences, mentioning a personal thought about his late grandfather. Additional tributes highlighted the impact of her public battle.
