Republican Representative Mike Collins of Georgia is facing intense scrutiny over his close ties to his son-in-law, David Alan Scheer II, who has been linked to white nationalist ideology.
Collins, a trucking executive endorsed by Donald Trump, has represented Georgia's 10th congressional district since 2023.

Scheer, married to Collins's daughter Summer, works as a social media influencer promoting white nationalist content and antisemitic conspiracy theories online.
He has amassed more than 1.5 million followers across TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Telegram, where he posts about fitness, Christianity, and masculinity.
Reports indicate Scheer is registered to vote at a property owned by Collins in Georgia, has appeared in campaign photographs, and attended Collins's primary victory party in June.
Online archives show Scheer has shared promotional material from the neofascist hate group Patriot Front, whose members recently marched in Washington DC on the Fourth of July.
During a podcast appearance in November, Scheer claimed white populations face extinction and advocated for a homogenous culture to ensure societal thriving.

He has also promoted the "Jewish Bolsheviks" conspiracy theory and shared an infographic blaming Jewish organizations and donors for controlling US foreign policy.
In a June 2025 social media post, Scheer used imagery from a 1930s Nazi propaganda poster alongside captioning about a "common enemy."
Further investigation revealed Scheer has promoted false claims blaming Jewish people for the 9/11 terror attacks and the assassination of JFK.
When questioned, Collins's congressional campaign did not address Scheer's specific behavior.
"Rep Collins' lifelong support for Israel is unquestionable and backed by his consistent record in Congress of standing up for Israel and her people," a spokesperson said in a statement.
