Late-night host Seth Meyers has sharply criticized the Trump administration for focusing on unusual topics like military testosterone levels and aircraft carrier magnets while economic problems persist.
During a recent episode of Late Night, Meyers highlighted the contrast between everyday Americans' economic struggles and the administration's unconventional priorities.

He replayed 2024 campaign footage where promises were made to curb inflation and lower gas and grocery costs, goals Meyers argues remain unfulfilled.
Instead, Meyers pointed to recent public health developments, jokingly linking the administration to an outbreak of a highly publicized explosive diarrhea virus.
The host argued the administration's team has become preoccupied with strange issues rather than addressing critical national concerns.
He specifically targeted Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., who has frequently raised concerns about teenage sperm counts.
"Is there an erotic fiction section in Aarp magazine?" Meyers asked during the broadcast.
He compared Kennedy's lectures to those of a substitute gym teacher covering a health class and stated the fears were groundless, citing a study showing no scientific cause for panic.
Meyers then turned his attention to Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, who is pushing for annual testosterone checks within the U.
S. military.
"What about the war in Iran?" Meyers asked.
