The 2027 Audi A2 e-tron has been spied with minimal camouflage, showing a design that pays homage to the original A2 from the early 2000s.
The electric hatchback is expected to debut this fall as Audi's most affordable EV.

Design Inspired by the Classic A2
The A2 e-tron resembles a modernized Sportback version of the original MPV, which was produced from 1999 to 2005.
It features a rounded front bumper, a rectangular lower intake, and split lighting units. The fully enclosed grille echoes the rest of Audi's e-tron lineup.
The profile has a dynamic greenhouse and a gently sloping roof ending in a pronounced spoiler.
Gloss black cladding, aerodynamically optimized wheels, and pronounced wheel arches add a crossover-like touch.
Winglet-style door pulls mirror those found on the BMW X5 and Ford Mustang Mach-E.
At the rear, a gloss black lower bumper and a stylized liftgate with angular accents are visible. Taillights peek through the disguise.

Interior and Platform
Interior shots were not captured, but previous images show a cabin resembling the Audi Q3. Expect an 11.9-inch digital instrument cluster and a 12.8-inch infotainment system.
A flat-bottom steering wheel with a fixed bar houses the shifter and some vehicle controls.

That model offers 50, 58, and 79 kWh battery packs, providing a WLTP range of up to 391 miles (630 km).

Motor options include 168 hp, 188 hp, and 228 hp. The A2 e-tron will likely use the higher-end powertrains and may skip quattro all-wheel drive.
