Mitsubishi has introduced another Brazil-only special edition of the Triton pickup, this time developed with a local lifestyle brand and off-road enthusiasts.

Called the BF///MS, the name stands for Big Foot and Mato Grosso do Sul, the state where the partnership originated.

Distinctive Exterior and Interior

The truck stands out with a Baroque Brown body combined with Onyx Pearl Black on the lower portion.

The grille and mirror caps are black, while the Dynamic Shield front end and fender extensions match the body color.

It rides on 20-inch dark diamond-cut wheels wrapped in Goodyear Wrangler Duratrac rough-terrain tires.

Exterior features include power-retractable side steps, a soft tonneau cover, a bed storage box, a 12-volt outlet in the bed, and a tow hitch.

BF///MS badges appear on the doors and tailgate.

Inside, brown and black leather upholstery with orange stitching sets the tone.

The BF///MS logo is on the dashboard, and a horse emblem is embroidered into the seats and projected by the puddle lights.

Based on the flagship Triton Katana trim, the special edition comes with a 9-inch infotainment system, navigation, a 360-degree camera, a premium JBL sound system, dual-zone climate control, rubber floor mats, seven airbags, and an ADAS suite.

Powertrain and Pricing

Under the hood, the twin-turbo 2.4-liter diesel engine delivers 202 hp (151 kW / 205 PS) and 470 Nm (347 lb-ft) of torque.

Power goes to all four wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission and Mitsubishi's Super Select II 4WD system with a locking rear differential and seven terrain modes.

The Mitsubishi Triton BF///MS is built-to-order in Brazil with no fixed production cap.

It is priced at R$ 359,990 ($71,200), but a current promotion offers it at R$ 339,990 ($67,200).
