com Inc. stock declined by 3.17% on July 23, 2026, as broader tech sector weakness and rising streaming competition in Europe weighed on investor sentiment ahead of the company's upcoming Q2 2026 financial report.

Wall Street analysts project the e-commerce and cloud giant to post earnings of $1.82 per share and revenue of approximately $196.7 billion when it announces results on Thursday, July 30, 2026, after market close.

Previous Quarter Performance

In its previous quarterly report posted on April 29, 2026, Amazon surpassed market expectations with $2.78 earnings per share on $181.52 billion in revenue.

The results were driven by a 16.6% year-over-year revenue increase, a net margin of 12.22%, and a return on equity of 19.92%.

Despite strong underlying metrics, including Amazon Business reaching a $60 billion annualized sales run rate and AWS benefiting from enterprise artificial intelligence demand, shares opened at $244.85 following a sector-wide technology pullback.

Pressure on tech equities increased as sector exchange-traded funds slid alongside a 4.7% drop in the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index, dragging mega-cap stocks down across the market.

Garman sold 15,467 shares of company stock on May 21 at an average price of $263.40, totaling $4,074,007.80.
