A 1955 Cadillac Elegante concept car, known for its striking white and gold design, is now available at auction.
The vehicle began as a 1953 Series 62 convertible before being sent to Italian coachbuilder Carrozzeria Rocco Motto for custom bodywork.

Harry Birdsall and Joe Mascari of New York commissioned the transformation, resulting in a show car that debuted at the 1955 New York International Auto Show.
Design and Features
The Elegante's exterior is painted white with extensive gold accents, including the headlight clusters, windshield surround, side strakes, door handles, and wheels.
It also features a removable roof finished in gold.
Inside, the cabin is trimmed in red leather with gold elements on the instruments, door panels, and scuff plates.
A three-spoke steering wheel adds to the dramatic interior.
