Manchester United manager Michael Carrick has named 15-year-old forward JJ Gabriel in the 25-man senior squad for Friday's pre-season friendly against Rosenborg in Trondheim, Norway.
The academy player could make his first-team debut in the match.

Gabriel, who turns 16 in October, is the only addition to the traveling party that lost 1-0 to Wrexham in Finland.
He replaces striker Ethan Wheatley after being held out of the Finland fixture due to returning to training less than a week prior.
The London-born winger scored 29 goals in 32 appearances across all competitions for the Under-18 squad last season.
He helped the team reach both the FA Youth Cup and Premier League Under-18 cup finals, narrowly missing the league's top scorer title.

Several senior players are unavailable for the fixture. Forward Benjamin Sesko, goalkeeper Karl Darlow, and defender Matthijs de Ligt are sidelined with injuries.
Newly signed 18-year-old winger Tynan Thompson was left out after his £8 million transfer from Tottenham Hotspur.

Gabriel's first-team inclusion follows interest from club officials, including Director of Football Jason Wilcox, who convinced him to stay at United last summer.
