Wesley Hoedt, the professional soccer player currently playing for Al Shabab FC in Saudi Arabia, has introduced a new romantic partner on social media.
The defender shared a series of vacation pictures on Instagram as part of a summer 2026 photo recap.
The images featured his new partner alongside his children.
Hoedt accompanied the post with a Spanish caption stating that his favorite place is wherever they are. He did not reveal the identity of his new partner.
The announcement comes after his separation from Dutch singer Emma Heesters in mid-2025. The couple had previously split in 2023 before briefly reconciling.
Heesters listed her home for sale in July 2026, signaling the permanent end of their relationship.
Speaking to Shownieuws, Heesters discussed transitioning to single life. She noted that her personal stage aligned with her single releases.
“It is a very summery and danceable song, where the roles are reversed,” Heesters said. “What if the woman is a heartbreaker instead of the man?”
The singer clarified that the track was not autobiographical and emphasized that she was not actively dating. She is prioritizing her music career.
“I am trying to enjoy myself and focus on music,” Heesters said. “If I meet a man on a white horse, that moment will come naturally.”
