Mohamed Salah is reportedly close to finalizing a move to Turkish club Besiktas after departing from Liverpool, with an agreement in principle anticipated soon, according to multiple sources.
Besiktas, who finished fourth in the Turkish Super Lig last season, have been pursuing Salah intensively to strengthen their squad ahead of their Europa League campaign.

The club has offered Salah a contract reportedly worth around €12.5 million per year, with negotiations recently progressing after earlier stalls on financial terms.
Besiktas president Serdal Adali stated, "As has been published in the media, we have for some time been conducting negotiations with Salah and his representatives regarding the details of the deal."
Adali added, "In the final stage, we discussed the demands of the player and his representatives from all angles, and after mutual negotiations, we submitted our final official offer.
We also asked them to inform us of their decision within a short period."
The deal had faced obstacles, including high commission fees demanded by Salah's agent, but recent reports suggest these have been resolved.
Negotiations also covered the club's tactical plans and commercial opportunities, with Besiktas making Salah's signing the top priority for the current transfer window.
Italian journalist Nicolo Schira reported that Besiktas now have an "agreement in principle" with Salah and are "confident" of completing the transfer soon.

Meanwhile, Turkish journalist Yağız Saffunçuoğlu noted that Salah initially requested an annual salary of €15 million but lowered his expectations for the move to Besiktas.
