Rookie golfer Jackson Koivun captured his first PGA Tour title on Sunday, July 26, 2026, winning the 3M Open at TPC Twin Cities with a tournament-record score of 25-under 259.

The 21-year-old finished three strokes ahead of world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler in just his third professional start.

Koivun turned professional last month after leading Auburn to a college golf national championship.

The victory earned Koivun the $1.584 million top payout from an $8.8 million total purse.

The result also elevated him to No. 70 in the FedEx Cup standings, positioning him to qualify for the upcoming playoffs beginning in two weeks.

Scheffler finished in second place at 22-under par to claim $959,200.

Hideki Matsuyama, Brian Harman, Denny McCarthy, and Chandler Phillips tied for third place at 20-under, with each player earning $429,550.
