Rookie Jackson Koivun secured his first PGA Tour title on July 26, 2026, at the 3M Open in Blaine, Minnesota.
The 21-year-old closed with a bogey-free 5-under 66 to finish at 25-under 259, setting a tournament scoring record.

Koivun defeated world No. 1 Scottie Scheffler by three strokes. Scheffler shot a final-round 63 to finish second at 22-under, his fifth runner-up finish of the season.
Record-Breaking Performance
In just his third professional start, Koivun posted the lowest 72-hole score in 3M Open history.
He built a three-shot lead on Saturday with a 10-under 61, including a tournament-record 28 on the back nine.
During the final round, Koivun birdied the first hole after hitting a wedge to 1.5 feet.
He added birdies on the fourth, sixth, and 12th holes, then drove the short par-4 16th to set up another birdie.
Koivun's victory follows his national championship at Auburn and his second career sweep of the Haskins, Hogan, and Nicklaus awards.
His college coach, Nick Clinard, praised his mindset. "He really expects good things to happen to him," Clinard said.
Before the final round, Clinard told Koivun, "Go be you … and you'll come out on top."
Koivun remained composed despite hearing chants of "Scottie's comin'" from the crowd.

"I just tried to tone that out and keep playing the golf I knew I could," he said.
