Racing Louisville FC snapped Angel City FC's three-game winning streak with a 2-1 victory on Sunday at BMO Stadium in Los Angeles.
The loss marked the second time this season Angel City failed to extend a three-game winning run to four, according to local reports.

Racing Louisville forward Maja Lardner opened the scoring in the 24th minute, converting a spilled rebound from Angel City goalkeeper Angelina Anderson.
Lardner doubled the lead in the 55th minute, heading in a cross between defenders Emily Sams and Gisele Thompson.
Angel City pulled one back in the 80th minute when Sveindís Jónsdóttir scored through the legs of Louisville goalkeeper Jordyn Bloomer after a pass from substitute Sophia Mattice.
The goal marked the eighth time Racing Louisville has conceded in the final 15 minutes of a match this season.
Angel City pushed for an equalizer in stoppage time, with Riley Tiernan hitting the crossbar and Ally Sentnor having a low shot saved by Bloomer.

The home side finished with 25 total shots, six on target. Bloomer made five saves for Louisville, while Anderson recorded six saves for Angel City.
Despite the win, Racing Louisville remains in last place in the NWSL standings at 3-10-2 with 11 points, one behind Chicago.
Angel City moved to 7-7-1 with 22 points.
Angel City will next face the Kansas City Current on the road on Saturday, followed by a match at Seattle Reign on August 9, before returning home to play Washington Spirit on August 16.
