A farm on the Cornish moors is hosting a unique evening event that combines a guided alpaca walk with a view of the upcoming solar eclipse.

The experience, organized by Alpaca Trekking with Moor View Alpacas at Ninestones Farm near Liskeard, takes place away from urban light pollution on the rural moorlands.

Participants will lead alpacas across open landscapes and pause mid-trek to watch the moon pass between the Earth and the Sun, weather permitting.

After the walk, attendees will enjoy a sit-down two-course dinner with a complimentary drink.

"This is a truly special evening that brings together nature, great food and a rare astronomical event," said a spokesperson for Moor View Alpacas.

Organizers acknowledged the unpredictability of local weather but noted the open moorland terrain provides favorable odds of clear skies.

Spaces for the intimate event are strictly limited. Adult tickets are priced at £59.95, including the trek, eclipse access, dinner, and a drink.
