Afrobeats superstar Davido has gifted a Tesla Cybertruck to his former record label signee Mayorkun, marking a grand gesture of their enduring friendship.
The announcement was made on Sunday, July 26, 2026, via Davido's Instagram Story, where he shared a photo of the electric vehicle and directed an associate to arrange delivery for the following day.

"My gift to you. I love you #iammayorkun," Davido wrote in the post.
In a separate message, he added logistical instructions: "#babzii_chilling pls have it delivered 2moro."
Mayorkun, whose real name is Adewale Mayowa Emmanuel, acknowledged the gesture by reposting the announcement on his own Instagram account with the caption "Love 4L, 001."
