Singer Hollie Shearer married England rugby centre Joe Marchant in a civil ceremony in Winchester on Friday, July 24, 2026, following a two-year engagement.
The bride's father, former Newcastle United striker and current BBC pundit Alan Shearer, rushed back from FIFA World Cup commentary duties in the United States to attend the festivities.

The couple celebrated their marriage with close family and friends at The Royal Oak pub in Winchester.
Photos posted on social media by Alan Shearer showed the bride holding up her wedding ring as Marchant signed the marriage register, followed by celebrations on the venue's dance floor.
Hollie Shearer, 31, previously relocated to France when Marchant signed for Top 14 side Stade Français from Harlequins in December 2022.
The 30-year-old international back, who represented England at the 2019 and 2023 Rugby World Cups, recently agreed to join English club Sale Sharks ahead of the upcoming season.
Commenting on his daughter's engagement when it was announced in November 2024, Alan Shearer expressed his approval with a humorous remark: "I'm just glad it's not a footballer."
The former Newcastle United forward previously shared another playful interaction with his new son-in-law during a family vacation to Greece in 2023, asking, "WTF are the smugglers you have on?"
