Birmingham City has reached an agreement with Belgian side Anderlecht to sign Argentine striker Luis Vazquez.
The fee is reportedly around €3.5 million, according to journalist Cesar Luis Merlo.

The 25-year-old forward will move to the English Championship after a loan spell at Spanish La Liga club Getafe in the second half of last season.
During that stint, he scored three goals in 17 appearances.
Vazquez's Career Path
Vazquez originally joined Anderlecht from Boca Juniors in 2023. In his first season in Belgium, he netted seven goals in 41 matches.
His second campaign saw nine goals in 55 games.

However, his form dipped before the loan move. In his final 20 appearances for Anderlecht, he scored only twice.
According to data from FotMob, Vazquez excels in aerial duels, winning more than 74% of strikers in the Belgian Pro League.
His playmaking and shooting stats are lower, creating chances better than only 14% of league forwards and attempting more shots than 31%.

The transfer allows Anderlecht to reinvest the funds. Birmingham City gains a physical striker accustomed to European football.
