Dutch police arrested a 38-year-old man from Haarlemmermeer on Sunday evening in Leiden following a high-speed pursuit that covered more than 30 kilometers.
The chase began in Amsterdam and ended when officers forced the vehicle to stop on the Hofvlietweg.

Chase Route and Maneuvers
Law enforcement units, including multiple fast intervention vehicles (SIV), pursued the suspect across several major highways.
The route extended from Amsterdam via the A10 and A5 past Schiphol, then along the A4 and onto the N206 toward Leiden.
According to police, the driver drew attention through aggressive and unsafe maneuvers.
Officers initiated the chase after the driver exceeded the speed limit on the A4 by 50 kilometers per hour.
The suspect also passed vehicles on the hard shoulder, undertook traffic on the right, and ignored multiple signals to stop.

Arrest and Charges
Police halted the vehicle using an inbox maneuver, pinning the fleeing car between several police cruisers.
The forced stop caused physical damage to multiple vehicles, but no injuries occurred.
The suspect faces allegations for a total of 12 traffic infractions, including running a red light, failing to yield to a pedestrian at a crosswalk, and refusing to cooperate with alcohol, saliva, and blood tests.
Authorities towed the suspect's vehicle from the scene.

The 38-year-old driver was taken into custody and transferred to a police station in Amsterdam, where he remains held as the investigation continues.
