Head coach Mark Pope and the Kentucky Wildcats men's basketball team have finalized their Southeastern Conference schedule for the 2026-27 season.

The league slate was announced on July 27, 2026.

Kentucky will open conference play on the road against the Oklahoma Sooners on Jan. 2.

The regular season concludes on March 6 with a road game against the Florida Gators.

Home Opener and Key Matchups

The Wildcats' SEC home opener at Rupp Arena is scheduled for Jan. 5 or 6 against Ole Miss.

Other notable home games include Tennessee on Jan. 23, Alabama on Feb.

6, and Auburn on Feb. 27.

This season is crucial for Pope in his second year as Kentucky looks to rebuild its national standing after consecutive early postseason exits.

The Wildcats have not advanced past the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament since 2019, with only one Sweet 16 appearance in that span.

Beyond conference play, Kentucky's non-conference schedule features marquee matchups: against Kansas in Chicago on Nov. 10, a road game at Indiana on Nov.

20, and a clash with North Carolina at Madison Square Garden on Dec. 19.
