A single-vehicle crash on the A19 northbound flyover near Portrack early Monday morning has left one lane closed for barrier damage assessment and repairs.
The incident occurred around 4am on July 27.

The male driver suffered a wrist injury and was transported by ambulance to the University Hospital of North Tees.
The vehicle was recovered from the scene, but lane one remains shut to inspect the damaged safety barrier on the elevated section.
Authorities Respond to Incident
A spokesperson for National Highways said, "There was an incident just after 4am this morning, on the A19 northbound near the Tees Flyover, just after the exit slip for the A1046, Portrack.
The car involved struck the nearside barrier which forms the safety parapet on this elevated section."
Due to the nature of the damage and the fact that it is on an elevated section, lane 1 remains closed for safety and to allow inspections to be carried out.
There is no timescale at present for repairs while inspections are carried out.
National Highways added that motorists should expect slower traffic flow as vehicles merge into one lane over the flyover.
Cleveland Police confirmed, "Lane 1 of the A19 northbound over the flyover remains closed following a single vehicle RTC at around 4am this morning (Monday 27th July).

The male driver, who suffered an injury to his wrist, was taken by ambulance to the University Hospital of North Tees and Autolink attended the scene to assess damage to barriers."
