Ajax have extended the contract of striker Julian Rijkhoff until June 2028 before sending him on a one-season loan to Spanish Segunda Division side FC Andorra.
The temporary transfer agreement, finalized on July 27, 2026, includes an option for FC Andorra to make the move permanent.

Ajax also retains an additional one-year extension option in Rijkhoff's new contract to protect his transfer value.
Rijkhoff's Return and Loan History
The 21-year-old forward initially returned to Ajax from Borussia Dortmund in January 2024 for a fee of nearly €1.5 million.
He had previously spent time in the Ajax youth academy before moving to Germany in 2021.
During his second stint with the Dutch giants, Rijkhoff made 11 official appearances and scored two goals in the KNVB Cup, while primarily featuring for the reserve squad, Jong Ajax.
Last season, he was on loan at Almere City FC, where he scored 16 goals in 37 Keuken Kampioen Divisie matches.

Overall, he registered 19 goals and four assists in 44 appearances across all competitions.
Despite his production at Almere City, Ajax prioritized fellow forward Don-Angelo Konadu for the main squad, prompting the club and technical director Jordi Cruijff to facilitate Rijkhoff's move abroad.
FC Andorra's Ambition
FC Andorra, owned by former Barcelona defender Gerard Pique, sought additional attacking power after finishing 13th in Spain's second tier last season.
The club aims to bolster an attack that features Lautaro de Leon and Aitor Uzkudun.
