Born in Toulouse, Methalie joined his hometown club's youth academy in 2014. He made his professional debut in Ligue 1 in August 2025.
During his debut campaign, he registered 30 appearances across all competitions, scoring two goals and providing two assists.
Standing 1.88 meters tall, Methalie is versatile across the backline. He can play as a traditional left-back, left wing-back, or left-sided center-back.
His performances earned him a call-up to the France Under-21 national team, where he recorded two goals and one assist in four caps.
