The victory snapped a 12-game losing streak for the Marlins, who avoided setting a franchise record for consecutive losses.
Miami built an early lead against Philadelphia ace Zack Wheeler, who lasted just three innings in his 300th career start.
Wheeler allowed five runs on six hits, including two home runs.

Heriberto Hernández, who had homered off Wheeler in the first inning, tied the game with a two-run single up the middle.
Conine then lined the game-winning hit past second baseman Bryson Stott.
The win was Miami's first since the All-Star break. The Phillies dropped to 3-7 over their last 10 games following the break.
