Arsenal's Pursuit of Vinicius Jr and Bruno Guimaraes

Arsenal are reportedly willing to offer Vinicius Jr a contract worth £500,000 per week, which would make him the highest-paid player in the club's history.

The move comes as Arsenal also seek Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.

Former Newcastle manager Alan Pardew addressed Guimaraes' situation during a radio appearance. "He's a great player, there's no doubt about that," Pardew said.

Pardew noted the strong bond the midfielder previously held with the local fanbase.

"I would suggest, if you talked to a Newcastle fan, probably their favourite player," he added.

The former manager suggested that a departure appears increasingly likely. "I think his love has gone.

I can't see him staying there and being the same player," Pardew said.

Chelsea's Strategy for Veteran Leadership

Concurrently, Chelsea have initiated discussions to sign 36-year-old midfielder Jordan Henderson from Brentford and 35-year-old forward Danny Welbeck from Brighton.

The two players share a combined total of 863 Premier League appearances.

Henderson is available on a free transfer. The move aligns with Chelsea's strategy to introduce senior leadership into their squad.

In other Premier League movements, Manchester United have agreed to personal terms with Manu Kone and signed Kit Margetson.
