The M6 northbound in Cheshire fully reopened on Tuesday morning, July 28, after an overturned vehicle crash caused significant delays.
The collision occurred between Junction 18 at Holmes Chapel and Junction 19 at Knutsford, forcing the closure of two of the four lanes.

Emergency services and traffic authorities responded to the scene, and all lanes were cleared just after 10 a.
m.
Recovery work was completed shortly after the incident, according to traffic monitoring service Inrix, allowing heavy congestion to ease back to normal levels.
Separate Police Pursuit of Stolen Vehicle
The Tuesday morning disruption followed a separate incident on the M6 northbound on Monday, July 27.

Cheshire Police officers pursued a suspected stolen silver Dacia Duster around 12:30 p. m.
Police initially attempted to pull over the vehicle between Junctions 16 and 17, but the driver failed to stop and fled the scene.
The vehicle was forced to a halt following a minor collision between Junctions 19 and 20.
Cheshire Police arrested the driver at the scene on suspicion of theft of a motor vehicle, driving without insurance, driving without a license, and failing to stop for officers.

No injuries were reported during the tactical stop.
